^ Great question, Cali. If I knew the answer to that, I'd try to cure myself of it. It's really a scary thing living in fear.

For instance, the other morning, I ordered an omelette in the morning at my work cafeteria. For some reason, either the way it was folded or prepared, it had these tiny little perforations all over it; it completely grossed me out. I had to throw it out completely without touching it.

... u couldn't just drown it in ketchup to cover the holes ... or just eat it with your eyes closed? ...

if, let's say, the U.S. is no longer the dominant economic power in the world, do you think we'll finally start working less. currently the US has the fewest vacation days and i would really start to enjoy a siesta mid-day. i'm ron burgundy?

The funny thing is multiple studies have shown that working more does not necessarily mean better! In fact, recent studies have also shown people who report working more then 55 hours a week do significantly worse on cognitive and rational battery tests. If you think about it, even moderate alcohol consumption reduces brain size by about 1% per year, couple that with working more then 55 hours a week and possible getting less then 8 hours of sleep a day, you've got a cesspool of dumb! Bon voyage!

Seriously though, people are so focused and put to much of an emphasis on "productive time efficiency" or whatever garbage they spout these days and forget people are animals and weren't meant to function in the modern world work week efficiency ideological schema. Play is so utterly important for not only children but adults, that reduction of that time spells doom (coincidentally the #1 thing other then child abuse, which was actually MORE pervasive, that mass killers reported about their childhood was excessive lack of play time in youth due to overstrict/uncaring parents).

Tiyo has been really busy lately with work. Being the person that Tiyo goes to when he has questions, I'll try to answer some of yours.

Tiyo:

Download the Chinese, Japanese, Korean support pack:

https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...B42B2DBB8F27B6

There's the CJK.alx files in the directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8820-v4.2.2.184_P2.5.0.40", which has Chinese, Japanes and Korean settings.

1. Create a new korean.alx file and the content looks like the following.

<loader version="1.0">
<!-- Language and input support -->
<application
id="net.rim.blackberry.lang.ko.rendering">
<name>BlackBerry Korean Characters and Font Support</name>
<description>Korean Characters and Font Support for BlackBerry handhelds.</description>
<version>%_appsVersion:V02%</version>
<vendor>Research In Motion</vendor>
<copyright>Copyright 1998-2007 Research In Motion</copyright>
<fileset Java="1.0">
<directory>Java</directory>
<files>
net_rim_font_korean.cod
net_rim_tid_dynamic_transcoding_data_EUC_KR.cod
net_rim_tid_dynamic_transcoding_data_x_Johab.cod
</files>
</fileset>
</application>
</loader>

2. Copy the new Korean.alx to (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8830-v4.2.2.176_P3.0.0.79) on your hard drive.

3. Copy net_rim_font_korean.cod, net_rim_tid_dynamic_transcoding_data_EUC_KR.cod and net_rim_tid_dynamic_transcoding_data_x_Johab.cod to (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8830-v4.2.2.176_P3.0.0.79\Java) on your hard drive
4. Connect your Blackberry 8830 or Curve to your computer.
5. Run App Loader
7. Click on Korean Characters and Font Suppot in the list of programs
8. Click on Next
9. Click on Finished

^ Probably nothing. I don't much like klondike bars, and I'm not a dessert person. Jellybellys are the exception. I'd club a baby seal for a Costco-sized jar of Jellybellys.
